Free Sat Test
Preparation
The Scholastic Aptitude Test or SAT
is a standard test to get admission in US colleges for undergraduate
and graduate studies. The test is now referred only as SAT Reasoning
Test and not as an abbreviation for the earlier term. The SAT
Test is administered by the public College Board and the Educational
Testing Service (ETS) develops, publishes and scores the SAT
Test.
The SAT Reasoning Test is 3 hour 45 minute test and costs $41.50
without late fees. The possible scores in the test range between:
600 to 2400. The three main sections with 800 points each are:
Math, Critical Reading and Writing. Total scores are added up
by adding the scores of these three sections. There are in all
10 sub-sections and each main section has three or four sub-sections.
All questions are weighed equally and while you receive a point
for a correct answer, one fourth of a point is deducted for
a wrong answer. This makes the student wary of guessing answers.
The SAT test is offered
seven times a year in the United States and other countries
also follow the same date for the tests. The SAT is offered
in the months of: October, November, December, January, March
(or April alternates every year) May and June.
